The New Content Experiences DSE team focuses on introducing new content types and innovative experiences to our product. We partner closely with Product, Design, Algorithms, and Engineering to surface opportunities, inform product strategy, and evaluate the success of initiatives. The content we focus on includes Games, Live, Podcasts, and more exciting things to come. The Role: In this role, you will:
- Drive product innovation focused on our Games vertical and help shape the member experience through robust measurement strategies covering experimentation, modeling, and analytics.
- Establish strong partnerships with stakeholders to realize our vision for Games
- Develop experimentation and measurement frameworks to increase the velocity of investments and aid complex decision-making.
- Facilitate ownership and accountability by ensuring the team produces trustworthy, high-quality outputs that inform decisions and shape the direction of member experience.
- Be flexible to changing circumstances. Netflix Games is evolving rapidly, and this role will help shape its future.
To be successful in this role, you have:
- Experience with supporting experimentation at scale and observational causal inference to drive product development
- Strong statistical intuition and applied experience solving problems in consumer-facing products. Experience analyzing recommender systems is a plus.
- Expertise in SQL and statistical programming (Python and/or R)
- Exceptional communication with technical and non-technical audiences. Excellent at managing multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Comfort with ambiguity; ability to thrive with minimal oversight and process.
- A passion for product development and design.
Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $372,000.00 - $600,000.00. This compensation range will vary based on location. Netflix provides comprehensive benefits including Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits. We also offer paid leave of absence programs. Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off.
