Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a QuickBooks Client Success Manager based in Texas or Tennessee. You'll own the client experience from the moment a sale closes through the point where they're happily processing payments and getting full value from our service. As we scale and bring on new clients, you'll be the dedicated expert making sure every one of them gets set up, trained, and successful.

Responsibilities

  • Lead initial setup and training for new clients, including their first billing run
  • Provide ongoing support on the platform and answer QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop questions that relate to how clients use our service (reporting, deposits, transaction recording, ACH returns, refunds and voids, bank deposit issues)
  • Monitor newly onboarded clients to confirm they're actively processing payments. Reach out proactively when they're not, understand why, and alert the sales team if they're at risk of churning before they fully start
  • Check in with clients shortly after onboarding to make sure they're comfortable with the platform and address any friction
  • During slower periods, create simple how-to guides (Scribe walkthroughs) for common QuickBooks workflows that we can share with clients
  • Manage your own Calendly where clients book training and support sessions directly with you

Qualifications

  • Deep working knowledge of QuickBooks Online, including a strong understanding of the accounting principles behind the software — chart of accounts, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement flow (required)
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks Desktop, with the ability to support clients on either platform (strongly preferred)
  • Solid bookkeeping fundamentals, including debits and credits, accrual versus cash basis, and the ability to identify discrepancies on a client's books (required)
  • Prior experience as a bookkeeper, accountant, accounting clerk, or in a QuickBooks support role (required)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence on the phone, on Zoom, and in client-facing conversations
  • Patient, organized, and naturally helpful — you take pride in solving problems thoroughly and making clients feel taken care of
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to balance scheduled trainings, an inbox, and proactive client outreach
  • ProAdvisor certification is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field is preferred but not required
