Title: Freelance Recruiter / Headhunter – Auction & Real Estate Industry (On-Site Roles) Description: We are an established and growing auction company seeking an experienced freelance recruiter to help us improve and streamline our hiring process. We currently have active job postings and a strong pool of applicants, but we do not have the time to properly engage, evaluate, and screen every candidate. We are looking for someone who can step in and take ownership of the front end of the hiring process. What we need: - Review and evaluate incoming applications and resumes - Identify strong candidates we may otherwise overlook - Proactively reach out to qualified applicants - Conduct initial screenings (phone/video) - Present only the best-fit candidates to our team Priority focus – Passive Candidate Outreach: A key part of this role is proactively identifying and reaching out to passive candidates—especially individuals currently working in similar roles at other auction companies, equipment operations businesses, or real estate-related firms. We are not just looking to filter applicants—we want someone who can actively hunt for top talent. Roles we are hiring for: - Operations Manager – Consignment Equipment Auctions - Back Office Administrative / Clerical Position Both positions are in-person, on-site roles in our local area, so experience sourcing local/regional candidates is important. Ideal candidate: - Proven experience in recruiting, sourcing, or headhunting - Strong communication and candidate screening skills - Ability to identify talent beyond what’s shown on a resume - Experience in auction, real estate, construction, or equipment industries is a plus (but not required) - Comfortable with proactive outreach (LinkedIn, databases, direct contact, etc.) Project structure: We are open to starting this as a short-term project with the potential to continue if it’s a good fit. --- If you’re someone who can help us find the right people—not just the obvious ones—we’d like to talk.
