AI Business Development Executive

Location: United States Employment Type: Full-Time Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and commercially driven Appointment Setter and Business Development Executive to support the growth of DNAI’s AI Automation services. This role is centered on proactively engaging with local business owners, identifying key decision-makers, and introducing tailored AI-powered business solutions designed to enhance operational efficiency and streamline day-to-day processes. A core focus of this position is outbound prospecting, primarily through cold calling and strategic outreach, to generate and qualify high-quality leads. The successful candidate will play a critical role in initiating conversations, understanding client pain points, and positioning our solutions as valuable tools for business growth. While outreach may include in-person engagement when appropriate, the primary emphasis is on building a strong pipeline through consistent calling and lead generation efforts. The role also involves educating prospects on our advanced AI solutions, including our intelligent inbound AI agent that manages and responds to customer calls on behalf of businesses, enabling them to save time, reduce workload, and improve customer responsiveness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct high-volume outbound cold calls to local business owners and decision-makers
  • Identify, prospect, and qualify new business opportunities through strategic outreach
  • Introduce and position AI-powered business solutions tailored to client needs
  • Educate prospects on the value of AI automation, including inbound AI call-handling agents
  • Schedule qualified appointments and demos for the sales team
  • Build and maintain a consistent and healthy sales pipeline
  • Manage the full early-stage sales cycle from outreach to appointment setting
  • Maintain accurate records of activities, leads, and pipeline in CRM systems
  • Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly outreach and conversion targets
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth handoff and onboarding of clients
  • Gather market insights and customer feedback to refine outreach strategies

Required Qualification

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, business development, or B2B outbound prospecting
  • Proven experience in cold calling and lead generation
  • Strong communication, persuasion, and objection-handling skills
  • Ability to clearly explain technical or AI-based solutions in a simple, compelling way
  • Highly self-motivated, disciplined, and target-driven
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining structured reporting and activity tracking
  • Comfortable engaging with business owners and decision-makers across industries

Preferred Experience

  • Experience selling B2B services such as SaaS, AI solutions, marketing, or automation tools
  • Background in appointment setting, inside sales, or business development roles
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho)
  • Experience working with US-based clients or markets

Compensation & Benefits

  • Basic Salary $40,000 – $50,000/year + commission
