Occupational Therapist School Setting - Nashua, NH

Step into a rewarding role providing occupational therapy services to students across both elementary and high school settings for the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract position is ideal for professionals experienced in school-based OT who thrive in dynamic, student-centered environments. From September 1st to June 15th, you’ll work full-time, totaling 31 hours per week and serving as an itinerant OT, delivering crucial support to a varied student population. While the exact caseload will be finalized closer to the start date, you can expect opportunities to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and positively impact students’ educational experiences. Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current Occupational Therapist license valid in New Hampshire
  • Background in school-based OT, with comfort working across K-12 (elementary and high school experience preferred)
  • Knowledge of IEP processes, documentation, and special education compliance
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and other specialists
  • Ability to manage a flexible, changing caseload and work independently across multiple locations
  • Previous work as an itinerant OT is an asset

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify students’ needs
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in alignment with IEP goals
  • Deliver direct and consultative OT services in both individual and small-group settings
  • Maintain comprehensive, timely records and documentation
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and school team discussions
  • Provide training or support for staff and families as needed
