Salary Range: \$117,000.00 - \$153,000.00 What’s the role? As an HR Business Partner primarily supporting our Operations and Marketing teams, you’ll play a key role in partnering with leaders to drive people strategies that enable business success. You’ll work closely with managers and leaders, providing thoughtful guidance on a wide range of people topics while helping to build engaged, high-performing teams. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing hands-on execution with growing strategic exposure, and who takes pride in strong follow-through and delivering high-quality work. This is a full-time position reporting to the Principal HR Business Partner . This role requires your presence in Etsy’s Brooklyn Office once or twice per week depending on your proximity to the office. Responsibilities

  • Building trusted relationships with leaders, providing guidance on people topics while balancing business needs with employee experience
  • Managing employee relations matters, handling standard issues independently and partnering with Senior HRBPs and Employee Relations on more complex cases
  • Supporting and coaching managers through performance management, development conversations, and team effectiveness
  • Leading talent processes such as performance cycles, talent planning, and succession discussions
  • Partnering with Recruiting and cross-functional stakeholders to support workforce planning and headcount management
  • Leading and executing team-level organizational changes, ensuring thoughtful planning, clear communication, and alignment with broader organizational goals
  • Using data and insights to identify trends and inform recommendations, with support as needed
  • Contributing to projects and initiatives that enhance the impact and scalability of the HRBP function

Requirements

  • 3–6+ years of experience in HR, with experience in HR Business Partnering or similar roles
  • A strong relationship builder who influences through trust, clear communication, and sound judgment
  • A thoughtful problem solver who connects business priorities, people strategies, and data to drive effective outcomes
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and change, with the ability to prioritize and execute across multiple initiatives
  • Skilled at managing sensitive situations with discretion, confidence, and empathy
  • Experience coaching managers and supporting teams in dynamic, fast-paced environments
