Job summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor with strong expertise in Mathematics and other Science subjects to help guide and develop high school students in preparation for college. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent subject mastery, patience, and the ability to adapt teaching styles to meet individual learning needs. - Provide engaging and effective tutoring sessions in Mathematics and core Science subjects.
- Assess student understanding and tailor lessons to address individual challenges.
- Reinforce foundational concepts and help the student prepare for tests, assignments, and upcoming coursework.
- Help students strengthen academic performance and study habits for college readiness.
- Develop study habits and problem-solving techniques that promote independent learning.
- Prepare the student for college entrance exams (SAT/ACT) and build academic confidence.
- Monitor academic progress and communicate feedback effectively.
- Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and consistency in all sessions.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a Degree
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
