Loan Set-Up/Opener

Position Summary The Loan Setup / Opener team member ensures all loan documentation is complete, accurate, verified, and complies with company policy and Federal and State regulations at the time of the mortgage loan application. Loan Setup orders the third-party items and prepares the mortgage file for processing. The team member will review the file documentation before submission to Underwriting. Pay Disclosure The starting base hourly pay range for this position is $21.00 - 25.00 per hour. The actual base is dependent on many factors such as: work experience, business needs, market demands, and other compensation components. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate high volume productivity.
• Must be detail-oriented, organized, and work efficiently under pressure.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Demonstrate a professional level of customer service skills.
• Must work well independently and be self-motivated.

Education High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Determine if critical docs per the loan submission checklist are present.
• Issue NOIA (when applicable).
• Make applicable notes and extend communications.
• Task Management: Manage all tasks within 24-hour SLA
• Index the full file.
• USPS Check.
• SSN Check for additional loans for the same borrower.
• Update all contacts in LOS (AM, AE).
• Run LSFM.
• Order FHA Case Number (if applicable).
• Threshold requirements: 15 new files daily.
