TYLin is seeking a CAD Designer to join TYLin's Bridge sector. This exciting opportunity will be centered around analyzing and designing various innovative bridge structures and helping guide junior staff on your team. Prepare 2D bridge layout models (references) and sheets (contract documents). Conduct red-line changes to contract drawings. Assist in the development of bridge plans (structural and civil) including general layouts, foundation plans, concrete details, steel details, cross sections, reinforcing details, utility plans, and exhibits. Adhere to TYLin’s production practices and the client CAD standards. Consult and understand design manuals, local and international codes, agency standards and procedures. Maintain electronic project file organization and archives. Document as-built revisions and adhere to file storage policies. At least 6+ years of relevant experience in Civil/Structural Drafting. Technical degree in engineering technology from an accredited technical institution is preferred. Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, Revit and MicroStation in an engineering environment, specifically associated with the production of bridge structural and civil plans. Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office, Acrobat/Bluebeam, and other engineering production software is recommended. BIM, 3D Modeling experience preferred.
