Company Overview The Philadelphia International Music Festival is a vibrant summer music camp that offers students from throughout the United States and around the world a unique, immersive experience in classical music education and performance. Participants spend 14 days engaging with world-class musicians, including members of the renowned Philadelphia Orchestra, fostering their musical growth and passion. Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and motivated Sales - Music Camp Student Outreach representative to connect with prospective students and their families in California, Texas, Florida, and New York. This paid position involves promoting the festival’s offerings through engaging outreach efforts, event marketing, and personalized communication. Your enthusiasm and communication skills will help inspire young musicians to join our transformative summer program, ensuring a memorable experience for all involved.

Responsibilities

  • Actively promote the music camp to prospective students and families through outreach events and community engagement
  • Utilize marketing strategies to increase awareness of the camp across various channels
  • Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, addressing concerns, and guiding families through registration processes
  • Deliver compelling public speaking engagements at school visits, community events, or informational sessions (if desired, although not required)
  • Assist in organizing and executing event marketing initiatives to attract new participants
  • Maintain detailed records of outreach activities, inquiries, and follow-up communications

Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively
  • Experience in marketing or event marketing is highly desirable
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
  • Passion for music education and youth development is preferred
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating as part of a dynamic team
