About A+ Tutoring A+ Tutoring provides personalized online and in-person academic support to private families and charter school students. We specialize in customized learning plans, measurable academic growth, and consistent communication. Our students range from gifted learners seeking advanced enrichment to intervention-level students who need structured foundational support. We are committed to professionalism, flexibility, and meaningful academic impact. Role Summary As an Online Math Tutor (Fully Remote), you will:
- Deliver engaging, one-on-one virtual math instruction
- Teach middle school and high school math (Pre-Algebra, Algebra I & II, Geometry, and related courses)
- Support a wide variety of learners — from gifted to intervention-level
- Adapt lessons to align with state standards and classroom curriculum

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized 60-minute online math sessions
- Assess student needs and create targeted lesson plans
- Reinforce classroom learning and close skill gaps
- Prepare students for quizzes, tests, and major exams
- Submit detailed lesson notes after each session
- Maintain professional communication with families and A+ staff Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree (Education, Mathematics, or related field)
- Experience teaching or tutoring middle school and/or high school math
- Experience working with a wide variety of learners — from gifted to intervention-level
- Strong understanding of standards-based math instruction
- Comfortable using virtual teaching platforms Preferred:
- Teaching credential
- Classroom teaching experience
- Experience supporting honors or advanced math students
- Experience working with charter or homeschool students Schedule & Workload
- Flexible 2–20 hours per week
- All lessons are 60 minutes long
- Fully remote — work from home
