Fractional Marketing Director / Account Manager

ABOUT THE ROLE Most Marketing Directors have one company. You'll have several. As the Fractional Marketing Director / Account Manager at Raise, you'll be embedded across multiple client accounts as their dedicated marketing leader — directing people, managing vendors, owning delivery, and building the kind of client relationships that drive long-term growth. This is a marketing director / account manager hybrid role — with all the responsibility, variety, and impact that comes with it — across a portfolio of clients. You'll work hand-in-hand with Raise's company owner, who serves as the fractional CMO - providing the strategy, direction, oversight, and backing you need to thrive. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Direct and oversee marketing execution across assigned client accounts
  • Serve as the face of Raise to the client and the face of the client to Raise
  • Manage internal team workloads to ensure scopes of work are delivered on time and on budget
  • Oversee subcontractors and strategic vendors, holding them accountable to quality and timelines
  • Own project management across all active client deliverables
  • Protect and grow monthly recurring revenue through excellent service delivery and strong client relationships
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to expand client scope
  • Report to company ownership and client stakeholders on activities, outcomes, and recommendations
  • Continuously look for ways to improve — service delivery, processes, and results

YOU'RE THE RIGHT FIT IF YOU:

  • Have 4+ years of experience in a marketing director, marketing manager, or senior account leadership role
  • Have directed marketing teams and held vendors and subcontractors accountable
  • Are a natural relationship builder who earns trust quickly and keeps it
  • Can manage multiple clients and priorities simultaneously without dropping the ball
  • Communicate confidently with everyone from CEOs to designers and everything in-between
  • Are proactive by nature — always looking for ways to improve, not waiting to be asked
  • Thrive working remotely and are comfortable traveling to see clients in person
  • Proficient in HubSpot — expertise preferred
  • Hands-on marketing chops across a variety of tactics — email, social, content, digital advertising, copywriting and more. (When needed, you can roll up your sleeves and execute.)
  • Driven and motivated - strong initiative and follow-through
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or equivalent
