Job Summary The Elite Job Publishing House is seeking a detail-oriented and creative Junior Editor to join our dynamic editorial team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about language, storytelling, and high-quality content creation. The Junior Editor will play a key role in supporting senior editors, ensuring manuscripts and written materials meet our editorial standards, and helping bring engaging, polished works to market.

Key Responsibilities

Review, proofread, and edit manuscripts for grammar, clarity, consistency, and overall quality.

Collaborate with senior editors, authors, and designers to refine and improve content.

Conduct fact-checking and ensure compliance with publishing guidelines.

Provide constructive feedback to authors in a professional and supportive manner.

  • *

Assist in preparing manuscripts for final submission, including formatting and layout adjustments.

  • *

Maintain accurate editorial records and ensure timely project completion.

  • *

Stay updated on publishing trends and contribute fresh ideas for content improvement.

Strong command of English grammar, spelling, and style.

Exceptional attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies.

  • Experience

Bachelors degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.

Prior internship or entry-level experience in editing, publishing, or content writing is preferred but not mandatory.

Demonstrated passion for literature, publishing, or media will be highly regarded.

  • Working Hours

Full-time position: 40 hours per week.
