Key Responsibilities:

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the initial contact for our customers when an incident occurs, providing technical support for the processing of claims. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Working with a team to successfully meet department phone Key Performance Indicators
  • Processing claims for policyholders, claimants, and others over the phone
  • Assisting with processing claims that are received over the internet/mail
  • Participating in weekly team huddles and associate engagement activities

What it Takes:

To be eligible for this opportunity, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Be enrolled at UW-Stevens Point or Mid-State Technical College
  • Have 2-6 semesters left before graduation upon start date
  • Be available for 15-20 hours per week during the semester with the potential of up to 40 hours during summer or school breaks
  • Possess strong punctuality and dependability
  • Have solid verbal and written communication skills
  • Spanish-speaking bilingual skills are a plus, with additional compensation

Training and Development:

As a new hire, you will be required to train full-time (40 hours a week, in person) for the first 14 days. This comprehensive training program will equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to succeed in your role.
