Job Summary

As a Customer Advocate I, you'll play a critical role in providing prompt, accurate, and objective responses to member and physician inquiries via telephone and written communication. Under supervision, you'll work in a fast-paced call center environment, conducting research, and utilizing your analytical and organizational skills to resolve complex issues. Your exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, will enable you to build strong relationships with our members and physicians, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities

* Respond to member and physician inquiries via telephone and written communication in a prompt, accurate, and objective manner

  • Conduct research to resolve complex issues and provide informed solutions
  • Utilize analytical and organizational skills to prioritize tasks and manage multiple calls simultaneously
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of arenaflex's products and services
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve issues and improve member experiences
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance knowledge and skills
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics, including call handling time, first call resolution, and member satisfaction

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent

  • 6 months of customer service experience or 6 months of experience in an office environment
  • Data entry and/or typing experience
  • Interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to make independent decisions
  • Ability to spend approximately 90% of the scheduled time on the phone, with scheduled breaks

Preferred Qualifications

* 9 months of customer service experience

  • Experience working with various lines of business, including CDHP, Medicare, Wellness, and Disease Management
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
  • Proven ability to learn quickly and adapt to change
  • Referral preference given to applicants able to take and meet testing criteria

Compensation and Benefits

arenaflex offers a competitive compensation package, including:
