Researcher/Engineer Position We are looking for a highly ambitious researcher/engineer to join our team. The position is remote with Uruguayan. The ideal candidate has exceptional skill with Python and modern machine learning libraries/models, and is eager to design and build tools that power a world-class trading and research platform. What You'll Do:
- Develop and deploy ML-driven tools and pipelines to support trading, research, and risk analysis
- Work with large, unstructured data sets — from market data to weather models — and turn them into actionable insights
- Collaborate with traders and researchers to prototype, test, and productionize new ideas quickly
- Leverage AWS and cloud computing services to scale data processing and model deployment
What We're Looking For:
- Strong Python programming skills and proficiency with ML/AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, etc.)
- Experience with AWS and cloud-based architectures
- Relentless curiosity, intellectual drive, and passion for financial markets
- Ability to work independently, iterate fast, and solve problems creatively
- Bonus: understanding of futures and options markets (or a willingness to learn)
- Bonus: background or interest in weather modeling to enhance our agriculture and energy analytics
