What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Monitor, analyze, and respond to cyber events and incidents affecting organizational and partner networks
• Perform incident response functions and conduct root cause and forensic analysis of incidents
• Plan, design, implement, and manage specialized cybersecurity tools and technologies
• Collect and analyze security-related data for improved threat detection and prevention
• Provide direct cybersecurity intelligence and support to state and local government organizations

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in relevant fields such as Political Science, Criminal Justice, or Homeland Security
• Three (3) years of experience in analyzing and compiling classified or sensitive information in a government or research context
• Must be a U.S. Citizen to obtain necessary security clearances
• Valid driver's license in New Jersey if required for essential duties
• Must undergo a law enforcement background investigation

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Certifications such as GIAC Security Operations Certified, GIAC Machine Learning Engineer (GMLE), Security+, or Network+
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform
• A Master's degree in relevant fields may substitute for one year of experience
