Senior C++ Engineer
Ciklum is looking for a Senior C++ Engineer to join our team full-time in Ukraine. About the role: As a Senior C++ Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. As a C++ Developer on our Agent team, you’ll design, build, and optimize our real-time endpoint agent using modern C++ across Windows, Mac, and Linux environments. You’ll collaborate closely with product, backend, and security teams to drive end-to-end feature development, leveraging deep OS internals knowledge to protect real-world customer environments. Responsibilities: Design and implement scalable, high-performance modules for backup, disaster recovery, and continuous data protection Develop lightweight, resilient backend components and agents across various OS environments Contribute to distributed data communication frameworks with a minimal resource footprint Optimize systems running in large-scale production environments, including containerized and serverless deployments Collaborate in a fast-paced, team-driven setting to solve complex infrastructure and data resilience challenges Requirements: 5+ years of experience in C++ and Linux, with deep knowledge of system internals Strong understanding of scalable, modular software design and architectural patterns Experience writing reusable C++ libraries Familiarity with embedded or standalone open-source relational databases Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application Comfortable with CI/CD workflows and version control tools (Git) Experience implementing automated testing and unit tests Team player, self-driven, excellent communicator What`s in it for you?
