The Business Development Manager role is primarily responsible for managing all aspects of prospect development from pre-sale through closing. This individual contributor role will involve prospecting and presenting to Enterprise companies as well as large Corporate Loyalty and membership prospects. Sales will often involve collaborating with the European Team, and internal departments to develop and implement programs that will assist clients in maximizing employees/members utilization of BenefitHub and all the benefits and tools available on the platform. This position is fully remote. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Develop and execute a business development plan to achieve or exceed established goals and objectives for sales and revenue growth by: Prospecting and winning Enterprise employers and large loyalty-based opportunities. Engaging C-Suite contacts to develop a substantive pipeline of prospects Understanding and effectively promoting the BenefitHub platform through online demonstrations and face-to-face meetings Answering RFP’s Monitoring your own progress against business plan goals/objectives, and adjusting sales approach and/or strategies, as needed, to maximize sales and revenue growth. Establish strategic working relationships and secure new business through effective prospecting, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills, leading to profitable contractual partnerships within the target markets. Effectively negotiate contracts with all constituencies. Develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of all key competitors in the marketplace and effectively communicate the advantages of BenefitHub’s products and services to prospects. Effectively execute business plan strategies within budgetary guidelines. Input all communications and activity into BenefitHub’s CRM system Prepare and present sales reports as directed. Qualifications: Bachelors’ degree or a minimum of 7 years of a proven track record of sales/business development experience working with Fortune 500 and other large companies. Experience selling business value at the C-Suite level, with a track record of sales success targeting these contacts Proven track record of establishing and growing strong customer relationships at all levels of management. Consistent record of closing $100K deals in previous positions Excellent interpersonal, written/oral communication and time management skills. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products and CRM solution(s). Must be able to travel 50% of the time, or as needed. Apply To This Job
