Job Summary

We are urgently hiring for a part-time Customer Service Representative to work remotely from home. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare professionals, handling patient enrollment, and resolving customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care and services.

Key Responsibilities

* Utilize arenaflex's solution information section methodology and rules to process new patient enrollment by entering information into the proper system.

  • Handle patient medication requests within HIPAA guidelines and enter refill orders for processing.
  • Investigate to obtain missing medication data, and decipher clinical shortenings (SIG codes).
  • Resolve all information section-related exceptions.
  • Handle correspondence to patients (inbound calls, chats, messages) and make outbound calls to prescribers and patients as necessary.
  • Resolve external exceptions by assessing, gathering data, making revisions, and resubmitting for processing as per individual arrangement requirements.
  • Make phone calls to support plans and others to obtain data, gain abrogate endorsement, or otherwise resolve external exceptions.
  • Provide support to pharmacists, both those in the office and those at other locations.
  • Identify and convey issues to senior-level staff as necessary.
  • Obtain a dynamic pharmacy permit or certification within the first 90 days and maintain a current pharmacy permit or certification.

Essential Capabilities

* Basic computer skills (e.g., start and close down computer, use mouse to point and click, start and close programs, switch between programs, save files, print reports, or access data online).

  • Basic web search skills to include opening a browser, typing in URLs in the correct field, using a search engine, bookmarking a website, navigating using back/forward/stop buttons, and completing forms online.
  • Intermediate-level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, organizing reports).
  • Communicate effectively in writing and verbally.

Preferred Capabilities

* At least one year of pharmacy professional experience in a retail or call center environment.

  • At least one and a half years of experience as a pharmacy professional with a license/certification by the state Board of Pharmacy or widely recognized certification agency.
  • Experience providing customer service to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services, and assessment of customer satisfaction.
  • Moderate to advanced-level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, designing reports).
  • Familiarity with Spanish and English.
