As an Inventory Buyer, dedicated to supporting multiple warehouses in our network, you will own procurement responsibilities including purchasing, forecasting, inventory management, purchase order management and vendor management of 3rd party service providers. You will provide procurement insights and align with the building leadership team as well as local sales teams to drive efficiencies and improvements at the site(s). This is a remote position with minimal travel; and ideal candidates will be based in the DC metro area or Nashville, TN. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: In partnership with the Procurement Operations Manager, provide procurement operations support including: purchasing of inventory products, inventory management, non-inventory flow and space models, cycle counts, supplier management, procurement transaction and expediting support Develop deep knowledge of inventory items and align with like buildings to drive best practices Manage KPIs like inventory shrink, out of stocks, inventory turns, new item creations, and gross profit margins. Develop relationship across the building and network to ensure best practices are being shared and implemented Align with internal customers, Finance and Procurement Operations to understand budgetary targets by building and develop methods of measuring and defining savings, value and other category metrics Work in partnership both internally and with suppliers to develop innovative solutions to provide Procurement support to the Operations network Develop and implement ways to measure suppliers to drive continuous performance improvement BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 1-2+ years of experience in supply chain operations Strong analytics and mathematics background Supplier/ vendor relationship management experience 3+ years’ experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and analytical platforms, including but not limited to the ability to analyze data using pivots and V-Lookups. Experience understanding process flow and suggest improvements to deliver cost savings, inventory reduction, or other benefits to the site. Supplier/ vendor relationship management experience Ability to travel to warehouses in region infrequently, can otherwise work remotely PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS NetSuite Experience Procurement experience preferred Must be highly self-motivated and customer-centric Ability to work with ambiguity Provide a positive customer experience internally and externally Compensation for this role is between $60,000 - $65,000 What you’ll love about Odeko: Fast-paced environment and growth opportunities - plenty of room for you to directly impact the company and enhance your career!
