Job Description

As a Medical Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for handling inbound calls, emails, or chat support for a single account, utilizing your exceptional communication skills to gather and verify caller information and document it in our systems. Your primary goal will be to provide timely, accurate, and empathetic support to our clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities:

* Handle inbound calls, emails, or chat support for a single account, utilizing your expertise in insurance and medical claims to resolve complex issues

  • Gather and verify caller information, documenting it in our systems
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring timely, accurate, and empathetic support to our clients
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and escalate complex cases as needed
  • Stay up-to-date on industry developments, regulatory changes, and company policies to ensure compliance and provide accurate information to clients

Essential Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred

  • 2+ years of experience in customer service, preferably in the medical or insurance industry
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences, with a focus on empathy, active listening, and problem-solving
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple calls and tasks simultaneously
  • Basic computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with Genesys Phone Systems or similar technology

  • Previous call center experience, with a focus on medical or insurance claims
  • Previous experience working remotely, with a strong understanding of virtual communication tools and platforms
  • Basic technical support experience, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues

Job Requirements:

* Must be available to train on weekdays, with training taking place during daytime hours (approximately 6 am-4:30 pm PST)

  • Must have open availability 24/7 to work shifts within our company's hours of operation
  • Attendance is vital, with a strong emphasis on punctuality and reliability
  • A quiet, distraction-free workspace at home, with a locked door to prevent background noise on calls

Tech Requirements:

* Desktop Windows Computer (no Macs or Chrome Books)

  • Processor: Intel i3, i5, i7, or i9 (recent generation) / AMD Ryzen 3, 5, 7, or 9 (recent generation)
  • 8GB RAM as a floor, 16GB RAM preferred
  • Dual Monitor
  • High-quality USB headset
  • Hardwired internet connection at all times
  • Minimum internet speeds:

+ 20Mbps download + 10Mbps upload + Less than 20ms ping stability + No Spectrum

Compensation and Benefits:

* Competitive hourly rate: $15.00
