The Role

As a Customer Service Representative – Union Benefits Coordinator, you'll play a critical role in educating members about the benefits available to them through their union affiliation. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and addressing concerns in a professional and courteous manner. You'll also have the opportunity to work with our clients to identify additional benefits that may be of interest to them, but only if they express a desire to opt-in. This is not a sales role, and we're committed to building long-term relationships with our clients.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service to members of labor unions, credit unions, and associations

  • Educate members about the benefits available to them through their union affiliation
  • Work with clients to identify additional benefits that may be of interest to them (only if they express a desire to opt-in)
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and benefits provided
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and retention
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices

Essential Qualifications

* 2+ years of experience in customer service or a related field

  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Fluency in English (bilingual in any language is a plus, but not required)
  • MUST RESIDE IN CALIFORNIA

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working with labor unions, credit unions, or associations

  • Knowledge of benefits and insurance products
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
