About Uptake Today, the main challenge for health systems is not building or finding AI models, it’s how to select the right models and operationalize them. Uptake is a pre-seed healthcare AI company building the operational intelligence and governance layer that enables hospitals to manage and scale clinical AI. Uptake sits between health systems and their AI vendors, making deployment faster, governance continuous, and clinical AI something hospitals can actually stand behind. What this role is You have relationships at health systems with CMIOs, CTOs, VPs of Clinical Informatics, or equivalent, and you're in a position to make a warm introduction that turns into a real conversation. Beyond the intro, we'll need you to stay involved helping us navigate the institution, understand the internal dynamics, and keep the conversation moving. This is a success-fee arrangement. No retainer, no quota, no pipeline management. You connect us with the right people at the right institutions, and when we close, you get paid. Who we're looking for

  • Former health system operator, clinical informaticist, digital health executive, or EHR consultant with active C-suite or VP-level relationships at US health systems
  • OR - A sales executive with expereince selling into health systems and hospitals.
  • Independent — currently consulting, advising, or between roles, without conflict-of-interest restrictions on referral arrangements
  • You have relationships specifically at regional health systems or large specialty networks — $200M–$2B revenue, on Epic or Cerner, with evidence of AI deployment in the last 24 months

Compensation

Success fee: 15% of Year 1 contract value, paid on close. Structure is flexible for the right person. Equity kicker available for introductions that lead to design partnerships or anchor clients. Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
