  • Schedule each episode across 14 distinct Megaphone feeds weekly, customizing titles for each feed with careful attention to detail
  • Conduct a final QC listen-through of the audio version and a review of the YouTube upload before each episode goes live

Social Media & Distribution

  • Create social clips from podcast episodes for YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook
  • Write compelling captions and apply thoughtful tagging strategy tailored to each platform
  • Handle all video editing for social content, optimizing format and pacing for each channel

  • A strong editorial sense — you know when an interview is working and how to shape a story for maximum impact
  • Genuine enthusiasm for local news and civic affairs; you believe cities matter and love stories about how they work
  • Solid research and fact-checking skills
  • Experience producing and editing social video content across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills — you’re the kind of person who stays on top of many moving pieces across multiple teams without breaking a sweat
