PhotographerThis position will be responsible for the product photography, lifestyle photography, photoshoot set, photoshoot direction, and equipment management. A successful candidate must be self-motivated, comfortable working independently, be able to work under pressure and have the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment. They must also be team oriented and organized. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude and high energy with passion for fashion and ecommerce.Responsibilities:Product Photography - this position will be responsible for the look of all product shots on the website. Capture the functionality, features, benefits and uniqueness of individual products.Experience directing, posing, and engaging modeling talent to best showcase merchandise according to the company aesthetic.The ability to handle a high-volume studio workflow and execute both on-model and lifestyle imagery under tight deadlines.Shoot editorial marketing assets as needed.Understand deadlines and schedules to help prioritize work.Maintain relationships with team members, models, stylists, etc.Execute standard photography operation procedures including image editing techniques, tools, processes and guidelinesImage archiving and file organizationEnsure studio output exceeds industry standards and expectations.Drives towards continuous improvement and creative solutions.Run studio space to keep equipment up to date, organized and maintained.Oversee photography brand standards, lighting technique and image qualityProactive in communication and collaborationUtilize up to date knowledge of product trends, consumer buying and photography/imaging technology to enhance product photo presentationParticipate in weekly/monthly/quarterly and annual marketing meetingsRequirements:Minimum 40 hours per week (on location, no remote positions available)Strong knowledge in both natural and studio lightingA self-starter, with a strong sense of teamwork in a fast-paced, high volume, deadline-driven environmentExpert knowledge of Canon EOS, Adobe Creative Suite, Mac OS Indoor/Studio Lighting techniques (Photography) a mustAbility to size images and color settings for the web and social media.Strong Communication SkillsMaintain high standards for creative outputStrong work ethicA firm handle on a photography studio, its environment and its processes are a must.5-7 years' experience in studio/photo industry.
