Remote Political Consulting Firm Intern (Unpaid)

Remote Consulting Firm Internship (Unpaid) Flynt Strategies is a progressive political consulting firm seeking a politically engaged intern to support the firm’s political, campaign, and nonprofit consulting services. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in political consulting, campaign operations, communications, and client development. This position is fully remote and unpaid, with flexible scheduling and a commitment of 8-12 hours per week. College credit hours can be arranged. Intern applicants who are able to commit to the entire campaign season (May->November) will have priority consideration, but interns interested in a summer or fall semester commitment will also be considered. Georgia-based interns will have the opportunity to attend in-person events if desired. Interns may assist with

  • Conducting outreach to campaigns, candidates, nonprofits, and prospective clients
  • Helping identify and research potential clients and partnership opportunities
  • Drafting and assembling service proposals and outreach materials
  • Assisting with social media content creation and digital communications
  • Drafting email content, fundraising copy, and campaign messaging
  • Supporting phonebanking and voter outreach efforts
  • Conducting political or district research as needed
  • Providing general campaign and administrative support across client projects
  • MUST BE COMFORTABLE MAKING PHONE CALLS TO CLIENTS, VOLUNTEERS, & VOTERS Ideal candidates are:
  • Interested in politics, advocacy, communications, or campaigns
  • Strong written communicators
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
  • Familiar with social media platforms and basic political/campaign terminology
  • Willing to learn and take initiative
  • Interested in progressive politics, democratic campaigns, or social justice
