Sales Representative II

A Day in the Life The Sales Representative II is responsible for promoting and selling Medtronic products and services within an assigned geographic territory or specific customer accounts. This role focuses on developing strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and executing sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets. The position requires collaboration with internal teams and healthcare stakeholders to ensure customers maximize the value of Medtronic solutions. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. Promotes and sells Medtronic's products and services within an assigned geographic area and /or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets. Responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders including distributors and healthcare professionals. Responsible for pursuing leads, assessing needs and providing product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic's products and/or services. Promotes and establishes education of the company's products and/or services. Conducts market research including customers and competitors activities. Implements market development plans/strategies and changes as needed. Communicates customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders including R&D, Operations and Marketing. Required Knowledge and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years of sales experience Proven ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize competing responsibilities Experience conducting product demonstrations or clinical education Understanding of sales strategy development and territory management Ability to analyze market trends and competitor activity Frequent travel within assigned territory Regular interaction with healthcare professionals and clinical environments Combination of field-based sales activity and administrative work Physical Job Requirements The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.
