Implementation Engineer

Remote-first Full-time Now hiring

Description At CyberMaxx, we believe it is our duty to defend against those committed to wide-scale societal disruption through cyberattacks. We help our customers reduce risk by tightly integrating MDR with offensive security, threat hunting, security research, and digital forensics and incident response (DFIR) to continually adapt to new and evolving threats. Our modern MDR (Managed Detection & Response) approach is tailored to the unique characteristics and risk factors of each customer, enabling us to take full ownership of the response process and, optionally, manage key security controls. By thinking like an adversary and defending like a guardian, we help our customers stay a step ahead of threat actors. At Cybermaxx, we're not just delivering solutions — we're building partnerships. As an Implementation Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of ensuring our clients have a seamless and positive experience from day one. You’ll guide them through the onboarding journey, translating complex technical needs into clear action, and working alongside internal teams to bring it all to life. Your mission? Help people succeed with our cybersecurity products by blending technical expertise with a collaborative, service-oriented mindset. At Cybermaxx, people come first. Whether it's supporting our clients, collaborating with colleagues, or innovating new solutions, we believe in making meaningful connections. If you love solving technical challenges while building trust and relationships—this could be the role for you. What You Will Be Doing: Lead with purpose: Own the implementation process from start to finish, guiding clients through each stage with clarity and confidence. Listen and understand: Partner with Pre-Sales Engineers and clients to deeply understand their goals, technical requirements, and desired outcomes. Plan and organize: Set clear expectations through kickoff calls, project plans, timelines, and transparent communication. Collaborate across teams: Work closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success to deliver tailored, high-quality solutions. Keep things moving: Track progress, manage dependencies, and proactively remove blockers to keep projects on track and on time. Be the trusted guide: Serve as the go-to resource for clients throughout the implementation process—providing updates, solving problems, and delivering value. Empower through training: Lead onboarding sessions and workshops to ensure users feel confident and supported from the get-go. Transition with care: Partner with the Customer Success team for a smooth hand-off post-implementation, ensuring long-term satisfaction. Drive feedback forward: Capture insights from every interaction to help us improve how we serve our customers and evolve our solutions. What You Need to Be Successful: A customer-first mindset with the technical knowledge to back it up. 3+ years of experience in technical implementation, onboarding, or project management—ideally in a SaaS or cybersecurity environment. Strong background in Linux and Windows system administration, IP networking, and a general comfort navigating cloud environments (Azure or AWS experience is a bonus). Experience with Elastic and Ansible are a plus Strong organizational and project management skills—you know how to juggle multiple priorities without dropping the ball. Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written—you can make the complex feel simple and the technical feel human. A collaborative spirit—you work just as well with engineers as you do with clients. Curious and proactive—you anticipate challenges and take ownership of finding solutions. Familiarity with project management tools (like Jira, Trello, or Asana) and a knack for documentation and follow-through.
