Role & Responsibilities: Position Definition (Key Purpose of the Position): As part of the Global Materials Sourcing (GMS) Team, the Regional Operations Engineer Underfoot Platforms will execute seasonal process audit activities related to underfoot Production facilities. These include Mold and compound transfers, seasonal mold and SOP checks, quality assessments, raw materials adherence, storage check, production capacity, lab controls, and inspecting components for high impact NPI programs. Regional Operations Engineer will support VF’s partners in the creation of an appropriate corrective action plan, addressing all issues highlighted during SCP process audits. Monitor and track compliance against the CAP, analyzing and communicating risks in cases of non-compliance, finalizing and reporting as CAP issues are closed. The Regional Operations Engineer will undertake regular on-site visits to suppliers’ facilities to monitor adherence to manufacturing SOPs and reporting all issues of non-compliance. The Process Improvement Engineer will be accountable for maintaining and distributing the Underfoot Platforms color standards.
