About the Human Resources Assistant Position We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our HR team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to support our organization’s Human Resources functions and contribute to building a strong, talented workforce. This is part-time position, averaging 20 hours per week, Monday - Friday. This is a fully remote position, to be located in the Richmond, VA area. Human Resources Assistant Responsibilities Assist with the recruitment process, including maintaining job posts and candidate records, reviewing resumes, and scheduling interviews Provide general administrative support to the Human Resources department Assist with providing timely responses to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures Support onboarding and orientation programs for new hires Assist with special projects and operational tasks as needed Maintain confidentiality of employee information and sensitive records

Requirements

Strong organizational and time management skills Attentive to detail and solution focused Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), experience with Human Resource Information Systems or Applicant Tracking Systems is a plus Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality Ability to work independently and as part of a team Previous experience in human resources or recruiting is a plus Successful passage of a criminal background screen is required to meet position eligibility.
