Logik Podcast Production Intern — VFX / Film / Television Industry Podcast Location: Remote Type: Internship Schedule: Part-time, flexible (Summer 2026 June, July, August), Ideally Dec 2026 Industry: Podcasting, Visual Effects, Film, Television, Post-Production, Digital Media About the Podcast We are an industry-focused podcast covering the world of visual effects, film, television, post-production, and creative technology. Our show features conversations with VFX artists, supervisors, producers, editors, technologists, studio leaders, and other professionals working behind the scenes in entertainment. Internship Overview We are seeking a motivated Podcast Production Intern to participate in a structured learning experience focused on podcast production, entertainment media, and digital content workflows. This internship is designed for someone interested in podcasting, film, television, visual effects, post-production, or entertainment storytelling. The intern will gain exposure to different stages of the podcast process, including guest research, episode preparation, production organization, content development, publishing workflows, and promotional strategy. This role is intended to provide education, mentorship, and hands-on training . The internship should be structured around learning and professional development rather than replacing paid production labor. What You’ll Learn and Support Under supervision and guidance, the intern may have the opportunity to:

  • Learn how podcast episodes are researched, planned, recorded, organized, and promoted
  • Assist with guest research related to VFX, film, television, post-production, and creative technology
  • Help prepare guest bios, topic notes, and suggested interview questions
  • Observe and support the development of episode summaries, show notes, titles, and promotional copy
  • Learn how production assets such as audio, video, transcripts, images, and notes are organized
  • Help identify notable episode moments for potential clips, quotes, and social media posts
  • Help with social media support, including drafting captions, organizing promotional assets, identifying episode highlights, and assisting with posts across platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and X
  • Learn how podcast content is prepared for platforms such as YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, websites, newsletters, and social media
  • Gain exposure to audience development, sponsorship planning, and niche media strategy
  • Participate in feedback and mentorship sessions related to research, writing, production, and content development

Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is:

  • Interested in podcasting, digital media, film, television, visual effects, animation, editing, or post-production
  • Curious about the creative and technical professionals behind film and television
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
  • Comfortable with research, writing, and communication
  • Familiar with Google Docs, Google Drive, spreadsheets, and basic file organization
  • Interested in social media, short-form content, or digital promotion
  • Open to learning podcast production workflows from pre-production through publishing
  • Create short-form content is created for social media platforms

Nice-to-Have

Skills Not required, but helpful:

  • Riverside.fm
  • Basic audio or video editing experience
  • Familiarity with Premiere Pro, and Photoshop
  • Interest in VFX studios, post-production companies, film/TV workflows, animation, or creative technology
  • Experience creating social media posts, clips, captions, thumbnails, or newsletters

  • Podcast research and editorial preparation
  • Guest and topic research for an entertainment-industry podcast
  • Episode organization, show notes, and publishing workflows
  • Writing promotional copy for social media and digital platforms
