Maintain up-to-date knowledge of automotive technologies, including electric and hybrid vehicles. Collaborate with field technicians or service advisors to facilitate repairs. Document diagnostic findings and repair histories accurately. Stay current with manufacturer technical bulletins and service information. Offer remote support and guidance to resolve vehicle issues efficiently. Contribute to the development of remote diagnostic protocols and best practices.
  • Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as an Automotive Technician, with a specialization in diagnostics. ASE certifications highly preferred (e.g., G1, A6, A8, L3). Extensive knowledge of vehicle electronic systems, engine management, CAN bus communication, and diagnostic software. Experience with hybrid and electric vehicle systems is a significant advantage. Proficiency in using diagnostic scan tools and interpreting data streams. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment. High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Automotive Technology is a plus. Must have a reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace.
