• Our client, a prestigious academic institution, is seeking passionate and experienced Adjunct Professors of Education to join their faculty in Boston, Massachusetts, US . This role involves delivering high-quality instruction in various educational contexts, contributing to curriculum development, and fostering a stimulating learning environment for aspiring educators. The ideal candidate will possess a strong academic background, practical experience in the field of education, and a commitment to student success. You will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses, preparing course materials, designing engaging lesson plans, and assessing student learning through assignments, projects, and exams. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of current educational theories, research, and best practices is essential. Collaboration with full-time faculty, department chairs, and academic advisors to ensure curriculum coherence and student support is a key aspect of this position. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing for flexibility in your teaching and administrative duties. Responsibilities will include:

  • Teaching assigned courses in the Education department, adhering to established curriculum and learning objectives. Developing and delivering engaging lectures, discussions, and hands-on activities. Creating and grading assignments, exams, and other assessments to evaluate student progress. Providing constructive feedback to students on their academic performance. Holding regular office hours to support student inquiries and academic advising. Contributing to curriculum development and course revision as needed. Staying current with research, trends, and best practices in the field of education. Collaborating with full-time faculty and department staff on academic matters. Maintaining accurate student records and submitting grades in a timely manner. Participating in departmental meetings and faculty development activities. Fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment for diverse student populations. Qualifications:
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Education or a closely related field. Relevant professional experience in K-12 education, educational leadership, or a specialized area of education. Demonstrated teaching experience at the college or university level. Strong knowledge of educational theories, pedagogy, and curriculum design. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations. Commitment to student success and academic excellence. Familiarity with online learning platforms and hybrid teaching modalities is a plus.
