Key Responsibilities

  • Design and review statistical analysis plans for clinical trials, observational studies, and other research initiatives.
  • Perform complex statistical analyses using SAS, R, or Python, generating accurate and interpretable results.
  • Collaborate with clinical scientists, data managers, and regulatory affairs specialists to ensure scientific integrity and data quality.
  • Develop and validate statistical programs and procedures, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
  • Interpret and communicate statistical findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences through reports, presentations, and publications.
  • Provide statistical input for protocol development, sample size calculations, and case report form (CRF) design.
  • Participate in regulatory submissions by preparing statistical sections of reports and responding to agency queries.
  • Stay current with advancements in biostatistics methodologies, software, and regulatory guidelines. Required Skills
  • Master's or Ph.D. in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a closely related quantitative field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Biostatistician in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or clinical research industry.
  • Proficiency in statistical software packages such as SAS (Base, STAT, Macro), R, or Python.
  • Strong understanding of clinical trial design, statistical modeling, and hypothesis testing.
  • Experience with regulatory guidelines (e.g., ICH, FDA, Health Canada) for clinical development.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex statistical concepts clearly.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Bayesian statistics and adaptive trial designs.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Familiarity with CDISC standards (SDTM, ADaM).
  • Publication record in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
