Sales Trainer for Luxury Retail

We’re recruiting a sales trainer for luxury retail on behalf of a retailer celebrated for its exceptional commitment to unparalleled client experiences, headquartered in Dallas. Although the position is remote, the Sales Trainer needs to be located in the Dallas - Fort Worth area. Due to recent focus on customer experience, the company we’re recruiting for is seeking a Sales Trainer. The sales trainer will elevate the expertise of the selling teams, cultivate a culture of excellence, and drive sustained growth across their high-performing teams. Over the past five years, the company has experienced tremendous growth through expanding its presence with new flagship stores and a significant push to increase e-commerce sales. To further capitalize on their growing retail operations, they need to recruit and fill the Sales Trainer position as soon as possible. This person will be doing the job of a sales enablement manager as well as being very hands-on. Job Responsibilities

  • Create, develop, implement, and lead training and development programs for our retail sales professionals.
  • Lead virtual and in-person training sessions, enhancing sales performance and ensuring operational excellence.
  • Provide performance evaluations for sales professionals.
  • Develops playbooks with a variety of instructional techniques, such as role playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos, or lectures.
  • Work collaboratively with company stakeholders to assess sales training and development needs.
  • Generate various forms of onboarding, orientation, and skills training for employees and customers.
  • Develops unique sales training programs tailored to workers’ specific needs to maintain or improve job skills.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales training activities, attendance, results of training efforts, and retraining requirements.
  • Continuously evaluate program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback.
  • Maintain knowledge of the latest trends in training and development, as well as in the fashion industry.
  • Devise programs to nurture executive potential among employees in lower-level sales positions.
  • Analyzes and implements training budget; maintains records and reports of expenses.

Qualifications

  • Passionate about retail and/or fashion
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing effective sales training and materials
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and strengths in delivering presentations
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 5-7 years of experience in retail and/or training environments
