FreedomCare is a healthcare company dedicated to revolutionizing the home care industry since 2016. They are building a talent pool of customer service professionals for various roles, including HomeCare Sales Specialist, Intake Specialist, Onboarding Specialist, and Care Support Specialist, to support patients and caregivers in their home care journey.

Responsibilities

  • Connect and engage with people and start a relationship with those who are interested in having home care support for themselves or a loved one over the phone
  • Work closely with Patients and Caregivers to educate them and assist them on the application and enrollment process of our supported programs, with the goal of completing the eligibility process and onboarding them over the phone
  • Guide our patients and caregivers throughout the onboarding process of joining FreedomCare
  • Guide patients and caregivers through their home care journey while ensuring that our patients receive the care they need and feel heard and cared for

Skills

  • The ability to manage a high-volume inbound and outbound queue
  • Passion for providing a high level of customer service, including the ability to show empathy, active listening and patience
  • Strong emotional intelligence, and be able to work well in a team
  • Ability to resolve issues over the telephone with eager customers comfortably, defusing and de-escalating frustrated callers successfully
  • Computer proficiency required; strong typing skills and ability to leverage technology and resolve customer issues efficiently while notetaking/multitasking
