Social Media and Brand Coordinator

Magellan Jets, founded in 2008, is a leading provider of private aviation solutions based in Quincy, MA. They are seeking a Social Media and Brand Coordinator to support their marketing team by driving brand awareness, lead generation, and customer retention through social media strategy and content creation.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee social media channels, including Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, and Pinterest, with a strong understanding of distinct content needs for each unique platform
  • Support the launch of future social media channels by developing and implementing social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement and lead generation
  • Create, schedule, and publish content, including short-form copywriting, on all platforms
  • Monitor social media trends, respond to comments and messages in a timely manner, and actively engage in relevant social discussions
  • Track and measure social performance monthly through a social dashboard
  • Implement and maintain brand consistency across all marketing materials and office assets. This includes updating and distributing the marketing kit, designing email signatures, and creating business cards
  • In collaboration with the Sr. Brand Marketing Manager, help maintain relationships with external vendors, agencies, freelancers, and relevant partners involved in marketing projects, ensuring timelines and deadline expectations are met
  • Oversee the inventory of promotional items and branded merchandise
  • Coordinate the ordering, storage, and distribution of swag
  • Handle the logistics of sending out client gifts, including packaging, shipping, and tracking deliveries to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment
  • Assist in planning and coordinating internal and external company events and partnership activations
  • Manage event logistics, coordinate with vendors and partners, and ensure successful execution and follow-up
  • Provide administrative assistance to the marketing team, including but not limited to scheduling meetings, preparing materials, shipping items, database maintenance, correspondence handling, event setups, and partnership activations

Skills

  • 1-3 years of marketing, advertising or experience in a related field preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field preferred
  • Basic knowledge of how to analyze data, determine market trends, and read campaign performance metrics to inform decision-making and strategy development
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing, including crafting compelling marketing copy and presentations
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices, with the ability to create engaging, platform-specific content
  • Proficiency in short-form copywriting for social media
  • Experience with social media analytics tools to track and report on performance
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot), CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), project management software (e.g., Airtable), social media management tools, and native social media platforms
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook for creating documents, managing data, and communicating effectively
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Illustrator), Canva, and ability to edit and create in Instagram Reels, TikTok, and other social media editing applications
  • Exceptional thoroughness and attention to the details in all marketing activities, including content creation, proofreading, and campaign execution
  • Capacity to generate creative and innovative ideas and solutions for marketing campaigns, content creation, and promotional materials
  • Ability to take initiative, work independently when necessary, and seek out opportunities for improvement and growth
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and coordinate with cross functional teams to ensure project and event success
  • Capability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues from various departments to achieve common goals
  • Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities, market conditions, and emerging trends in the industry
  • 1-3 years of marketing, advertising or experience in a related field preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field preferred
