[Remote] TikTok Shop Content Creator
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. FordeBaker is a full-service marketplace agency specializing in turning brands into marketplace best sellers. They are seeking a TikTok Shop Content Creator who will concept, film, and edit engaging TikTok videos that drive engagement and conversions across various brands.
Responsibilities
- Research trending content, sounds, formats and creator approaches to keep output platform-fresh
- Develop bespoke video concepts for each brand and pitch ideas to brand representatives
- Film, produce and edit approved content to a high standard, ready for TikTok Shop
- Plan and manage a rolling content calendar, building in campaign moments, product launches and seasonal peaks
- Ensure all content feels organic and platform-native while staying true to each brand’s identity and guidelines
- Analyse video engagement, conversion data and audience insights to inform future content decisions
- A/B test different hooks, formats and calls-to-action to continuously improve performance
- Share learnings with the wider team and use data to make the case for new creative directions
- Stay ahead of TikTok algorithm changes and platform updates that affect content reach and shop conversion
- Work closely with Account Strategists to ensure content is aligned with each brand’s sales objectives and TikTok Shop strategy
- Take briefs, incorporate feedback and iterate quickly without losing creative quality
- Contribute ideas to team brainstorms and help shape FordeBaker’s content approach as the TikTok Shop division grows
Skills
- A portfolio of TikTok content (brand or personal) that demonstrates range and platform fluency
- Hands-on experience filming and editing short-form video
- Proficiency in mobile video editing tools (CapCut or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of TikTok's content mechanics — hooks, formats, sounds and trends
- Experience creating content for TikTok Shop specifically (product showcases, hauls, affiliate content)
- Experience working across multiple brands or product categories
- Proficiency in additional editing tools (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, etc.)
- An existing TikTok presence with demonstrated organic reach
