[Remote] Customer Service Representative Bilingual Spanish (remote)

(CRI) is a company focused on helping individuals navigate their federal student loans with compassion and clarity. They are seeking Bilingual (Spanish/English) Customer Service Representatives to assist borrowers with inquiries and repayment options while ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Assist student loan borrowers with account inquiries, repayment options, and application processes
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls in a fast-paced, high-volume contact center environment
  • Provide accurate, professional, and empathetic customer support
  • Ensure compliance with federal regulations, company policies, and data security standards
  • Meet key performance indicators and quality assurance standards

Skills

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Fluency in Spanish and English, while primarily taking calls from Spanish-speaking customers
  • High School diploma or GED
  • 6+ months of customer service in a business, non-retail environment or call center experience
  • 6+ months of computer experience in a business setting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, OneNote)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal Public Trust (5c) security clearance (financial/credit history and background will be reviewed): Not in default on federal student loans, Demonstrated financial responsibility, No felony convictions within the past 7 years, Misdemeanor convictions within the past 7 years may impact eligibility, No non-medical collections totaling $7,500 or more
  • Prior call center experience
  • Associate or bachelor's degree
