Freelance Interior Design CAD Drafter — AutoCAD, SketchUp, Interior Elevations — Remote (URGENT!)

Website www.stevenmillerdesignstudio.com Role Description Steven Miller Design Studio is looking for an experienced freelance CAD drafter to support a high-end residential interior design project on an immediate basis. We need someone who can quickly produce clean, accurate interior elevations based on an existing SketchUp model and project drawings. This is a fast-moving drafting support role, so we’re looking for someone who is detail-oriented, responsive, and comfortable working from existing design direction. Scope of Work

• Draft interior elevations for multiple rooms
• Work from an existing SketchUp model, PDFs, and/or drawing references
• Translate design intent into clean, organized elevation drawings
• Coordinate details such as wall conditions, cabinetry, built-ins, furniture, plumbing fixtures, lighting, and finish references where applicable
• Prepare drawings in a clear format for review and coordination
• Make revisions based on feedback from the designer Required Experience
• Direct experience producing interior elevations for interior design or residential projects
• Strong drafting skills and ability to create clean, organized drawing sets
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, SketchUp Layout, or similar drafting tools
• Ability to work from an existing SketchUp model and project drawings
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, proportion, and alignment
• Ability to start quickly and communicate progress clearly Preferred Experience
• Experience with high-end residential interiors
• Experience drafting cabinetry, built-ins, bathrooms, kitchens, furniture layouts, and finish details
• Familiarity with interior design documentation standards
• Experience supporting interior designers, architects, or design studios
• Ability to work independently with limited handholding once direction is provided Project Details

• Time 1000 AM to 700 PM Pacific Time (US)
• Location Fully remote, but availability for quick communication is very important.
