Why This Role Matters

In the fast‑moving world of digital entertainment, accurate financial reporting and robust intercompany accounting are the backbone of strategic decision‑making. As a Senior Financial Accounting Analyst, you will be a pivotal member of arenaflex’s Controllership team, ensuring that our corporate bookkeeping processes are flawless, transparent, and compliant with US GAAP. Your expertise will directly influence the financial health of the organization, supporting everything from budget planning to regulatory filings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the month‑end close process for corporate bookkeeping, including the preparation and analysis of journal entries for intercompany eliminations, intercompany allocations, and related‑party transactions.
  • Develop, maintain, and review monthly and quarterly financial statements, performing variance analysis to identify and explain significant fluctuations.
  • Reconcile intercompany accounts, investigate and resolve out‑of‑balance items, and collaborate with intercompany finance teams to ensure timely settlements.
  • Track and evaluate related‑party transactions throughout the fiscal year, conducting valuation analyses to confirm that transactions are conducted at arm’s length.
  • Partner with the Treasury, Legal, and other cross‑functional teams within arenaxflex Controllership to gather essential supporting documentation for audit readiness.
  • Work directly with the Manager, Financial Accounting – Corporate on ad‑hoc projects, process improvements, and strategic initiatives that drive efficiency.
  • Assist in the preparation of arenaflex’s budget forecasts by developing financial schedules and supporting documentation.
  • Research complex accounting issues and draft accounting memoranda to communicate changes in accounting treatment to stakeholders.
  • Support internal and external audit processes by preparing audit requests, coordinating status meetings, and ensuring timely delivery of required documentation.

Essential Qualifications

  • Three+ years of experience in corporate bookkeeping or financial accounting, preferably within a large, multi‑entity organization.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP principles, with hands‑on experience preparing intercompany eliminations and related‑party disclosures.
  • Advanced proficiency in the arenaflex Office suite—specifically arenaflex Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook—to build complex financial models and reporting templates.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact confidently with senior leadership and cross‑functional partners.
  • Detail‑oriented mindset, high level of accuracy, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining strong collaboration with distributed teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in both public and private accounting environments, providing a well‑rounded perspective on financial reporting.
  • Hands‑on experience with arenaflex ERP systems (formerly SAP) for journal entry processing and intercompany reconciliations.
  • Background in the entertainment or technology industry, offering insight into the unique financial dynamics of content creation and distribution.
  • CPA certification or progress toward certification, underscoring a commitment to professional development and technical mastery.
