Pediatric Neuropsychologist Adviser (Remote or Hybrid)

Remote-first Full-time Now hiring

Company Description

NeuroLeap Corp develops novel multi-sensory, dynamic feedback technologies that harness children’s natural motivation to play to support a more objective assessment, learning, and cognitive development. The company’s solution is designed to help schools and healthcare organizations more effectively assess and treat patients with comorbidities, and for schools to meet their legal obligations to educate children with learning disabilities in a scalable, cost-effective way. By integrating engaging, play-based assessments and intervention tools into school and healthcare environments, NeuroLeap aims to improve outcomes and inclusion for diverse learners/patients. Team members collaborate with other specialists, clinicians, neuroscientists, regulatory experts, the FDA, and CRO (Clinical Research Organization) staff, and technologists to ensure that products are both evidence-informed and practical for real-world use. Role Description This is a part-time, remote Pediatric Neuropsychologist Adviser role, with the possibility of hybrid collaboration where feasible. The adviser will provide expert guidance on the neuropsychological foundations of NeuroLeap’s products for children with learning, motor skills, and cognitive challenges. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing and advising on product features, protocols to ensure clinical appropriateness, developmental sensitivity, and alignment with best practices in pediatric neuropsychology, and sometimes reviewing processed biomarker (EEG, EMG & ECG) results. The role involves interpreting current research, offering recommendations on assessment-informed interventions, and helping translate clinical concepts into clear, actionable guidance for product, engineering, and school/healthcare implementation teams. The adviser will also participate in virtual meetings, contribute to internal training materials, and provide feedback on study designs, pilot projects, RCTs, and outcome measures related to children’s learning and neurocognitive functioning.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Pediatric Neuropsychology, including expertise in Neuropsychology and Neuropsychological Assessment as applied to children and adolescents.
  • Preferably 5+ years of experience in Psychology and Medicine relevant to neurodevelopmental/neuropsychological disorders, learning disabilities, and related conditions.
  • Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical Psychology or Neuropsychology from an accredited program; completion of specialized training or fellowship in Pediatric Neuropsychology preferred.
  • Current licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as a psychologist in at least one U.S. or Canadian jurisdiction, with good standing and adherence to ethical practice standards.
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with schools, healthcare teams, or multidisciplinary programs serving children with a variety of neurodevelopmental/neuropsychological disorders, and/or learning disabilities.
  • Ability to interpret research literature, synthesize evidence, and communicate clinical concepts clearly to non-clinical stakeholders (e.g., therapists, managers, engineers).
  • Comfort working in a part-time, remote advisory capacity, including participating in virtual meetings and providing timely written and verbal feedback.
  • Interest in educational/clinical assessment technology, digital interventions, and play-based or game-informed approaches to learning and cognitive support.
  • Must have good communication skills in English.
  • Knowledge of psychological or educational assessments and the test development process.
