[Remote] Sales Development Representative

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. MerchantE, an Omise company, is relaunching in the U.S. market with a modernized cloud-native payments stack and a focus on customer service and sales engineering. They are seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR/BDR) to generate new pipeline and shape prospects' impressions of the brand, collaborating closely with Account Executives and Marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect into ISVs, eCommerce merchants, and ISO partners using calls, email, and social outreach
  • Qualify inbound leads from marketing campaigns and convert them into high-quality meetings
  • Articulate MerchantE’s differentiated value: end-to-end ownership of our modernized acquiring stack, deep integration capabilities, and commitment to customer success
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to book and prepare discovery calls that address each prospect’s business needs
  • Partner with Marketing on targeted campaigns that drive engagement in our core verticals
  • Maintain detailed records of activity and pipeline in Salesforce to ensure predictable reporting

Skills

  • Strong communicator, both written and verbal, with the ability to tailor messaging to executives, operators, and technical buyers
  • Organized and detail-oriented; can manage multiple conversations without dropping the ball
  • Curious about fintech, payments, and how modern infrastructure powers digital commerce
  • 1+ year of customer-facing or sales experience (internship, SDR/BDR, or related) preferred
