[Remote] Outside Sales Account Manager - Fluid Power Components and Solutions

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. SunSource is one of North America’s leading value-add industrial distribution companies, providing customers with products and solutions within Fluid Power and related fields. They are seeking a driven Outside Sales Account Manager to develop and execute strategic sales plans, identify new business opportunities, and maintain strong customer relationships in the Pittsburgh area.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan in collaboration with your District Sales Manager
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, and presentations
  • Grow and maintain strong relationships with existing customers across a defined territory
  • Leverage support from expert inside sales and technical teams to deliver value-added solutions
  • Use CRM tools and data insights to effectively manage your pipeline and territory

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or a 2-year technical degree (Fluid Power focus preferred), or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of B2B industrial sales experience (Fluid Power sales is a strong plus and preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with fluid power systems, components, and troubleshooting is a big advantage
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Computer and technology proficient including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and ability to learn and effectively use CRM systems and related apps
  • A valid driver's license and ability to travel occasionally overnight
  • Fluid Power sales experience is a strong plus
  • 2-year technical degree (Fluid Power focus preferred)
