[Remote] Sales Director, Rail

They are seeking a Sales Director to manage direct sales, develop strategic sales plans, and lead a multiskills team to achieve sales objectives in the US market.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement a commercial strategy to develop & grow the business in a sustainable way - Go to markets / Cusomer mapping (IPP/EPC/Financial/TSO-DSO...) / Competition analysis, action plan
- Drive the commercial team to ensure the identification of new opportunities throughout the range of applications targeted
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers at executive level
- Anticipate trends in the market (regulatory, market opening, applications change)
- Coordinate the offer, technical and commercial, with the bid manager and application engineers by providing the winning strategy
- Continuously improve the bidding process by deploying necessary procedures and guidelines to support the sales team
- Support the commercial team in the negotiation with the customers T&C's, guarantee, ToP
- Be accountable for the order/margin budget and provide plan
- Coordinate efforts to introduce and communicate new solutions to your market
- Provide timely reporting and inputs; tracking sales activities in the CRM, order forecasts
Skills
- Master's Degree in Engineering field
- 10+ years' professional experience in sales and marketing of technical products and solutions (complex solutions / turnkey projects selling process) with utilities, IPPs, developers, financials, and industrial
- Knowledge and experience in renewable energies
