[Remote] Platform Engineer III (Workday) Job Details | Aflac, Incorporated

They are seeking a Platform Engineer III to support architectural design and maintenance of the platform’s environment, ensuring compliance with organizational requirements and managing integrations to platform applications.
Responsibilities
- Provides support on architectural design and maintenance of the platform’s (COTS, SaaS, ERP) environment with distributed components
- Ensures compliance with the organization's requirements through the implementation of, auditing of, and adherence to policies, procedures, and security standards
- Plans software upgrades, patching, & plugin installations in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Monitors performance, resolves problems, & manages component capacity issues
- Design, test, develop, configure, & maintain integrations to platform’s applications
- Adhere to the platform’s security and coding standards for resilience, data, and security
- Review business requirements to deploy the best solution, including configuring, coding, & debugging
- Work closely with cross-functional departments to communicate statuses & technical proposals
- Deploy and configure platform applications tailored to company needs
- Design technical solutions, configure/customize, test, maintain the platform applications to meet company requirements
- Performs other duties as required
Skills
- Extensive experience in software development and modern programming languages
- Workday configuration experience
- Leave management configuration experience in Workday
- Workday consultant background
- Proven experience with Scrum and advanced DevOps methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and lead junior developers
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems or other related experience
- Four or more years of experience in release practices and environments or other related experience
- Candidates for this role must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship
- Master's degree in computer science, Information Systems or other related field
- Workday certified
- Workday Wellness implementation experience a big plus
- ADP, UKG experience a big plus
