Confidential Jobs is a growing organization seeking a Director of Digital Commerce to lead the performance, optimization, and expansion of their digital revenue ecosystem. The role focuses on online revenue growth, enhancing customer experiences, and driving digital innovation across ecommerce and event registration.

Responsibilities

  • Own online revenue performance across ecommerce and digital transactions
  • Drive improvements in conversion rate, AOV, attach rates, retention, and customer lifetime value
  • Identify opportunities to enhance acquisition, onboarding, and transactional efficiency
  • Build and execute testing and optimization roadmaps
  • Partner with leadership on forecasting, revenue planning, and digital growth strategies
  • Serve as an expert in Optimizely and related integrations
  • Lead optimization of ecommerce, registration, and checkout experiences
  • Improve buyer journeys across both self‑service and enterprise‑influenced paths
  • Reduce friction across cart, registration, payment, and lead‑capture flows
  • Analyze user behavior to identify usability and conversion opportunities
  • Collaborate with UX, development, and marketing operations to prioritize enhancements
  • Act as the business owner for the ecommerce and digital commerce ecosystem
  • Partner with Operations and Technology on governance, integrations, and platform enhancements
  • Ensure digital experiences align with customer needs and business priorities
  • Shape future‑state digital commerce capabilities and platform evolution
  • Establish KPIs and reporting frameworks tied to revenue and digital performance
  • Monitor conversion, traffic, funnel performance, customer behavior, and attribution
  • Translate analytics and insights into actionable optimization strategies
  • Lead experimentation efforts including A/B testing, landing page optimization, merchandising strategy, and promotional effectiveness
  • Partner closely with Demand Generation, Sales, Product Marketing, Customer Experience, and Technology teams
  • Coordinate with external agencies, software engineers, and platform partners
  • Serve as a key stakeholder in digital roadmap planning and prioritization
  • Champion a culture of experimentation, continuous improvement, and customer‑centric thinking

Skills

  • 7–10+ years in ecommerce, digital commerce, digital product management, or growth marketing leadership
  • Experience with CMS, ecommerce, CRM, and marketing automation platforms (Optimizely + Microsoft Dynamics strongly preferred)
  • Background managing complex ecommerce or registration‑based digital experiences
  • Strong understanding of conversion optimization, analytics, and customer journey strategy
  • Ability to interpret performance data and translate insights into action
  • Proven cross‑functional collaboration across marketing, sales, technology, and operations
  • Strong project management and prioritization skills in fast‑moving environments
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Experience in B2B, professional services, training, education, healthcare, SaaS, or event‑driven commerce environments
