They are seeking a Director of Data Engineering & AI to lead client engagements, drive business development, and shape the future direction of their AI-enabled data engineering practice.

Responsibilities

  • Leading enterprise data modernization and AI transformation engagements across multiple industries
  • Driving business development activities, including opportunity creation, proposal development, and client relationship management
  • Architecting modern data platforms that support AI, machine learning, and Generative AI use cases
  • Advising clients on data governance, data quality, AI infrastructure readiness, and cloud transformation strategies
  • Building AI-enabled data engineering capabilities, frameworks, accelerators, and reusable assets
  • Driving innovation around emerging technologies including RAG, agentic workflows, vector databases, and AI orchestration frameworks
  • Leading multidisciplinary consulting teams while maintaining strong executive-level client relationships
  • Managing project delivery, financial performance, and overall engagement success

Skills

  • 10+ years of client-facing consulting experience across technology, data, and analytics engagements
  • Deep expertise in Databricks, Snowflake, GCP, or similar modern data platform technologies
  • Experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale data platforms that support AI and machine learning workloads
  • Strong understanding of AI-focused data architecture, including real-time data pipelines, feature engineering, vector databases, semantic search, and unstructured data processing
  • Experience delivering cloud-native data engineering solutions across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP environments
  • Familiarity with MLOps, LLMOps, data governance, observability, and enterprise AI operationalization
  • Demonstrated success developing client relationships and generating new consulting opportunities
  • Experience leading complex consulting engagements and managing executive stakeholder relationships
  • Industry expertise within Healthcare, Banking, Insurance, Utilities, Private Equity, or related sectors is highly desirable
