[Remote] Technical Program Manager II

As a Technical Program Manager II, you will lead the delivery of data center construction programs, ensuring they are completed on schedule and within scope while coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing risks.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of hyperscale data center construction programs, including pre-construction, design coordination, procurement tracking, construction, commissioning support, and operations handover
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, milestones, and execution plans
  • Track scope, schedule, and cost performance against commitments
  • Lead risk identification and maintain program risk registers
  • Own mitigation plans and track risk resolution through project completion
  • Manage change control processes, including evaluation of change orders and scope impacts
  • Review construction drawings, specifications, and design intent for alignment and constructability
  • Coordinate submittals, RFIs, field changes, and design clarifications
  • Partner with engineering, construction, commissioning, and operations teams to resolve issues
  • Ensure compliance with internal standards and applicable codes
  • Maintain dashboards and weekly reporting for leadership
  • Highlight key risks, issues, and required decisions in executive updates
  • Facilitate cross-functional coordination meetings and drive alignment
  • Support punch-list completion and contractual closeout requirements
  • Travel up to 30% as required

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field
  • 3–6 years of experience managing construction projects
  • Experience managing projects from pre-construction through handover
  • Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and change orders
  • Understanding of construction sequencing and field execution
  • Experience using project management software such as MS Project, Primavera P6, Procore, or Smartsheet
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Experience in data center or mission-critical construction environments
  • Experience in hyperscale or large-scale infrastructure projects
  • Familiarity with commissioning and integrated systems testing
  • PMP certification
